Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will join our busy team providing a fast and efficient service to our clients and will need to:

  • Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner from start to finish
  • Create and maintain payroll records
  • Calculate part months & holiday
  • Manage statutory payments
  • Process P45’s
  • Liaise with clients, clarifying calculations as necessary.
  • Managing client pension schemes via a multiple of pension providers i.e. setting up and monthly uploading.
  • Essential experience using – Sage, STAR & Xero
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Requirements

  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Data entry experience
  • Record-keeping skills
  • Competent Excel user
  • Attention to detail; right first time
  • Capable of using own initiative to enable working with minimal supervision after initial training.
  • Confident and capable communicator both with colleagues and clients and across all mediums.
  • Comfortable with problem solving.
  • Savvy with IT systems /software
  • Work in a methodical and well-organised manner
  • Multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to prioritise and work calmly under pressure to manage efficiently a busy workload
  • Honest, trustworthy and reliable
  • Minimum 5 GCSES A-C grade, including Maths and English.
